Which are the advantages of becoming a Young Diatomist?
- Propose suggestions to the local organizers of International Diatom Symposium (IDS) meetings about topics that might be of interest for us: workshops, talks, courses, etc.
- Participate in courses and workshops supported by the ISDR board that might be held either pre or post the main conference, or during the general IDS meetings
- Participate in activities aimed to create networks between young and senior researchers
- Collaborate in active networks in the field of diatom research that help to establish future collaborations among young researchers and share information
